Island Pure

South Australian Wineries
Kangaroo Island is located just off the coast of South Australia.

This popular tourist destination has remained unspoilt and is the home of a growing number of gourmet food producers.

This pristine location is the home of Island Pure, where Susan and Craig Berlin established their sheep dairy in 1991.

The sheep are brought into the dairy twice a day for milking.

Being creatures of habit, sheep always go to the same milking station.

Each ewe produces about 1 litre of milk.

The range from Island Pure includes Haloumi, Kefalotiri, Manchego and Fetta cheeses, plus a Natural and Island Honey Yogurt.
